DVLA online auction this May has, once again, demonstrated the resilience and perhaps surprising buoyancy of the UK private plates market.
DVLA Auction Reports
DVLA Auction in April 2022
DVLA's April auction was another online event. The usual mixed bag of registrations went under the hammer and although prices remain good, quite a few purchasers seem to have netted bargains.
New DVLA auction plates January 2022
The DVLA held its first auction of 2022 from 12th to 18th of January. This was a timed, online auction, although the agency is hoping to hold live auction events again beginning later this year.
DVLA Auction December 2021
Auctions continue to deliver surprises and the DVLA December 2021 auction was no exception. In our newsletters and blog posts we often express relief at how resilient and buoyant the personal number plates market remains in these… interesting times.
DVLA auction results
The DVLA sales are always a mixed bag with prices very much dependent upon the selection on offer. A fair bit of the interest this time was around Ferrari- themed numbers and the star of the show was 812 GTS which sold for an all-in price of £42,848. If one can afford £300,000 for a drop-top Ferrari 812 GTS then the ultimate plate to make the car truly unique must be an attractive proposition.
