Tuesday the 13th of February dawned wet, cold and windy, but that didn’t deter our intrepid team members Craig, Lisa, Chynna and Paddy from fronting up to Dunstable’s HQ Sports Bar for the annual Pancake Day Race, in aid of the mayor’s charity.
Clad in their best Regtransfers finery, our team brought their racing skills to the fore across a short course. Team members faced off against a number of other local businesses, flipping their precious cargo when commanded. We’re happy to say that the Regtransfers crew managed to navigate the course without a single pancake being dropped!
Unfortunately our team were knocked out in the first of several rounds, but continued to do us proud in showing off what we do. Of particular interest to the gathered crowds was the BAT 73R number plate that the team brought with them.
We’re already preparing for 2019’s race, this time with a view to taking home the trophy. We hear it’s very good with a little lemon and sugar.
